Gorilla coffee: Quality since 1847

Gorilla coffee from A. Joerges: Everything for the best coffee in automatic coffee machines

The A. Joerges KG coffee import and roasting company has been in existence since 1847, first in Giessen, then in Frankfurt am Main, until the brothers Andreas and Peter Hühsam took over the company in 1982. Under their leadership, the company continued to develop steadily. Not only the number of enthusiasts, who recognised the quality of the coffee roasted here and with which excellent drinks could be prepared, but also the number of customers from the hotel and catering industry grew year on year. The two owners also continued to break new ground, developing new coffee specialities and new distribution channels, and cooperating with partners beyond the usual suppliers and buyers on the coffee market. Success was not spared, and so in 2004 they decided to create their own coffee brand: Own Gorilla coffees for fully automatic machines, Portafilters and classic filter coffees were born. Coffees with this label quickly conquered the taste buds and hearts of countless coffee drinkers in Germany and Europe and within a few years brought today's Kaffegroßrösterei A. Joerges GmbH into the top group of German private roasters. Production expanded and in 2012 it became necessary to move to a new location in Obertshausen.

Gorilla coffee is fun
Individuality, customer wishes and a high-quality composition of the best coffee and espresso beans are the hallmarks of Gorilla coffee. The coffee trendsetter comes from the house of Kaffee Joerges. Connoisseurs appreciate the different varieties of Gorilla coffee for their special aroma and characteristic taste. Another special feature of Joerges Gorilla coffees: They are from a single origin. Varietal purity means that only batches of one variety with the ideal roast profile are processed. Only then are the various coffee beans combined to form balanced and optimally matched blends. In this way, each blend develops its own full aroma and individual taste.
