Caffè Vergnano: tradition for over 100 years
Caffè Vergnano looks back on a long and traditional history. The company was founded in 1882 as a small grocery shop in Chieri, a small town at the foot of the Turin hills, and was run by the grandfather of the current owner, Domenico Vergnano. This laid the foundations for the Vergnano family's true vocation. Because in a few years, the family members of the small shop mastered the secrets of roasting and selling coffee. Now the company developed by leaps and bounds - and the first three Italian shops were opened in Turin, Alba and Chieri. However, the real leap forward came in the 1930s as a result of a bold decision. The company acquired its own coffee plantation in Kenya.

Caffè Vergnano is committed to the environment
Since 1999, Caffè Vergnano has internalised the guiding principle of sustainability in its business activities, as protecting the environment has also been shown to lead to a better quality of life. The premium roastery has therefore decided to comply with both mandatory and voluntary regulations on product safety and environmental protection. To achieve this goal, the quality department has been given the necessary financial resources.
