About Tiktak

Tiktak’s history began in 1870, when Klaas Tiktak from Pekela opened a grocery store on Damsterdiep in Groningen. He soon began roasting coffee and blending tea there himself. In 1887, he built a small factory behind his house, and Tiktak continued to grow as a Groningen-based coffee roaster.

In 1991, Tiktak was acquired by Segafredo. Today, the brand is part of the international Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group, while Tiktak has retained its Dutch and Groningen identity.

Tiktak Mountain High

Tiktak Mountain High is a blend of exclusively Arabica coffee beans from Colombia, Brazil, and Guatemala. Tiktak describes the coffee as full-bodied and smooth with a rich aroma. Mountain High is also Rainforest Alliance certified.

Tiktak Latin Dance

Tiktak Latin Dance consists of 100% Arabica coffee beans from primarily South American countries, including Brazil and Colombia. According to Tiktak, the coffee has a refined flavor, a fresh, tangy aftertaste, and a full body, which is partly due to the deeper and longer roast.

Tiktak Samba

Tiktak Samba combines Arabica and Robusta beans sourced primarily from Brazil, supplemented with Arabica from Central America and other regions. The Robusta and the darker roast give this blend its bold and full-bodied character.

Tiktak Organica Dark Roast

Tiktak Organica Dark Roast is the organic dark-roast blend in the lineup. The coffee is freshly packaged after roasting to preserve its aroma. Tiktak positions this coffee within its certified lineup.
