During brewing, water is forced through the coffee at high pressure. The brewing pressure ensures that certain substances are dissolved from the ground coffee very quickly. The coffee grounds act as a filter for the water.
Extremely suitable for making Caffe crema, Latte, Macchiato and Cappuccino.
The result is a layer about 1 to 3 mm thick with a fine-grained, creamy consistency in light to dark brown: the crema. It is the hallmark of a successful espresso or caffè crema. The “cap” looks appetizing and also preserves the flavors and aromas and warm temperature in the cup.
